Project Text

The apartment in a historic building from the founding period of 1899 is undergoing renovation to meet modern needs. The focus is on renewing the bathroom and kitchen, while the other rooms have only been gently touched up with patching and painting work. Particular attention is given to restoring the beautiful black and white tiled floor. The tile size and the 45-degree installation angle lend an elegant appearance to the rooms. For the wall surfaces, such as the shower niche and the kitchen's work backsplashes, black tiles are chosen and installed at a 90-degree angle. This gives the vertical elements a distinctive presence and creates an interesting contrast to the rest of the tiles. In the kitchen, the dark matte green adds a color accent and creates a pleasant atmosphere. Special focus is placed on simple and well-thought-out details, joints, and connections to achieve a high-quality and aesthetic appearance. These small yet carefully executed elements constitute the charm and uniqueness of this project.
